EZ-Pass in the Northeast. I figure it saves me about 15 minutes driving
from my home in Central NJ to Gaithersburg, MD, on I-95, which I do at
least once a month. On our summer vacations to Cape Cod, MA, it saves us
about 30 minutes - mainly on the Garden State Parkway. Given that I don't
really drive over 75 mph, I don't have any personal concerns over 'Big
Brother', although I WOULD if it came to pass that they wanted to use this
system for speed monitoring. Of course, I believe that most states have
laws that state that you must be 'observed' to be speeding, which would
eliminate usage of EZ-Pass timing, I would think, without some
reformatting of the laws which would raise a hue and cry.

As far as 'spray' stuff or license plate covers to ward off photo radar,
seems to me a major car mag in the US (Car and Driver?) tested some of
these a while back and found that they were in the same category as the
'Ding King' and those magnets you can put around your fuel line to
increase gas mileage - basically useless.

Audi content - when I bought my A4, I could not get myself to attach the
transponder to the windshield on my new car, so I put it on top of the
dashboard when I go through the tolls.
