Yes Zsolt, the PEI bridge has a clever toll system, fast and very efficient.
Since PEI is an island, and there is no other exit, you pay your 32$ only
when you want to quit the island! So going there is a no-hassle crossing on
a very nice 13km-long bridge (http://www.confederationbridge.com/). 

As for the payment itself, you slip your credit or debit card in a machine
and less than 5 seconds later you get your card back and a receipt that says
Goodbye and thanks for visiting PEI! There is no real credit validation I
guess, being it so fast. In fact, the slower lanes are the one where people
want to pay cash!

BTW, thanks Zsolt for giving me the opportunity to speak about this
wonderful region of the Maritime provinces of Canada, when everybody is
making plans for next summer...(TIC)
