That someone was me; here's the post again, recounting what it will cost
to put new OEM parts into a 4kq:

"Zygmunt has front ball joints for just over $20 and rears for $50 (!). Huw
is right about the bushed arms' price [Note: about $70/arm], so that works
out to $180 for the
front axle and $240 for the rear. If the new parts lasted longer (tip- make
the arm so it can use a common Energy bushing, like a Honda or Chevy) and
provide more advantageous alignment opportunities people would certainly be
willing to spend more than they would for stock parts.

With a 'stock' full rehab costing $420, I'd think that between $550-600
for the whole car (as long as the parts were full featured) wouldn't be
unreasonable. Painful, yes, but not unreasonable.

Bring it in lower than that and you'd sell lots I bet!"

$1000 for the whole car would be well out of my price range. Nonetheless
I'm sure no one expects you to do this for free :)
