I just measured my '83 with H&R's and Bilsteins. Here are the 
measurements with 225/50x15 tires.

rocker to floor just aft of the front wheelwell 8.5"
    "        "        fwd of the rear  wheelwell 8.75"

Floor to center of wheel arch front	23.750"
   "         "        "     "  rear      24.00"
