efi mixture settings

Yup, 20lb injectors was what I was shooting at. Actually I have been meaning
to buy a set of jeep (19 lb I believe) of ebay.
I will be tuning with wideband, and possibly running wb all the time.
Also my calcs reckon the 19 lb injectors "should", with a bit of fuel
pressure adjustment allow me to hit 225 bhp without much problem. As and
when I sort out my turbo motor. Which is what I am working on for cost, and
maintaining a sensible family car.

Alan, IME, tuning for a NA motor I shoot for 13:1 under WOT, under idle and
light load shoot for 14-15:1 a/f ratio, but w/o a wideband trying to shoot
for anything other than "it feels good" will be next to impossible w/o
actually knowing what your a/f ratio is, via WB.

Also, IME, tuning with Batch fire, you'll have a tough time getting the car
any where near stoich at idle and light load conditions, you'll likely have
to run closer to 12-13:1 to keep the car running smoothly. The only
redeeming factor is going with smaller and smaller injectors, I'd say for
the power levels you're looking at, you should be fine with no more than a
20lb injector, not sure what you'll be using, but with batch fire, the
smaller the injector the more control you'll have.

Running 034EFI Stage II with sequntial injection, I have no trouble getting
idle right at stoich even with 50-60lb injectors, but that was never
possible before we went to full sequential. I'll be running a 75lb injector
for the 2.3l 20v project, no problem there either.

HTH, keep us posted, BTW dynotuning is highly recommended.
