Actually, looking for one that is still alive.

Need to buy a laptop in the $300 or so range. Specs are more or less: min 
13" screen, needs to have a modem (or slot to install one, I have a 56K 
PCMCIA modem), floppy & CD drive (can be swappable, doesn't have to be 
built-in), 200mhz CPU, about 6 Gig hard drive, AC adapter, and hopefully a 
good battery (dream on!), W98/2 desired.

Also looking for a portable printer to match - are these made in plain 
paper or are they all thermal?

Basically, I'm looking for last year's model or the year before, my wife 
needs something to schlep around between home and her office and print stuff.

Don't need wireless, 17" screen, DVD read/write, bluetooth or any of the 
current technology (no thought-control or nuclear batteries), just 
something that works properly. She's only doing word processing (forms) and 
e-mail on it.

Please reply OFF LIST, since this really isn't Audi related.
