Squealing belt on 200

The others may be right that the belt you're using is narrow - however,
during the 11 years I owned my 1990 200, I found that no matter what I did
and no matter what belt I ran, I had to re-tighten the alternator belt every
few months. It's a total PITA to do it, but you get good at it after a
while. I'd say the solution is to tighten the d**m belt every few months,
and keep at least one spare adjustment-bolt-with-pot-metal-star-adjuster
handy. They are as consumable as chewing gum.
