Intercooler fitment, etc. on possible turbo conversion

No - I probably got everyone confused.  This was from a '89 model 80 2.0 l 4
cyl. 5 speed trans - I think that was a 110 or 115 HP engine and the
driveline looked identical to a late 4000S (non-quattro).  The questioning
was pertaining to installing it into a '83 Coupe GT - 5 cyl 5 speed trans.
that I may install an MC turbo engine into.

Are you saying the transmissions are not interchangeable from 4 cyl to 5 cyl
car?  I don't know why i thought they were.

I know there is a difference in spline count on the trans drive shaft.

Probably I threw off everyone when I mentioned my '83 Ur Quattro in the same
post getting a similar albiet more powerful upgrade.
