LAC: Radar guns and VAG Coil packs

Here is a FWIW:
I've been testing two Audis and a K band radar gun trying to figure out the 
(source) of interference I get.  Readings from 10 MPH to 19MPH seriously strong 
reflections.
I also had 38 , 46 and 120MPH show up in cosine (90 degrees to moving 
traffic) use where the display should have read ZERO.

Both the 1999 A6 30V and the 1999 1.8T do this.  I suspect many other VAG 
coil pack"aged" cars will do this.

It was suggested and I think I've confirmed the coil packs are the reason.
Most compelling is turn the engine off and the 11 MPH read fades to 10MPH 
(bottom of readings range) then to ZERO.

I wonder how many police cars have similar packs leading to bogus 
readings......
