I should have elaborated...what I emean is that it is much more
expensive than the stuff labeled 'power steering fluid' on the FLAPS
shelves and one of the previous owners may have put that in to save a
few bucks.

I agree, a well sealed and properly running system is the ideal, then it
doesn't cost anything to top up.
