Looking for CGT Coilover Spring Rate Advice for Track Use

Hey Alan, I think your proposed spring rates are definitely in the ball park, but very stiff, those are similar weights that we use on Track-driven 4kq's and Coupe Q's. You didn't mention anything about struts, IME, only a Koni Double Adjust strut or a custom valved Koni Yellow or Bilstein will control a spring that stiff. If you go to that rate with your current dampners you may not be very happy with the way the car handles, being under-dampened. You may be able to get rid of your swaybars all together, that rear sway bar isn't going to be doing much with 700lb springs in the back, usually much over 500lb springs on a track car I get rid of sway bars.

HTH,

Javad
