NAC computer help

Folks

i got a virus on my pc, naichi worm or some crap, now i can't download and run other programmes that may help me fix these problems. avg wouldn't let me delete it or put it in the virus vault. I haven't got rundll.exe files most things i try and open even windows explorer comes up with an error message, any ideas on where to go with this i am running xp pro.
