......or you could try Audi of Alexandria. They smoked the PO of my sedan for 
a broken distributor gear.  Claimed: "to tear down the engine to look for the 
"cause" would be $1000 to start".......................but the mechanic would 
give him $800 for the 3B 200 20V vehicle.
Oh and the 052-905-225-C rotor they charged him for (which I paid for) 
$11.42, wasn't in the car when I came to tow it away.

My favorite is Ira in Danvers, MA. in 2003. Just doin' the Bose radio recall 
so they shoot me a rear brake estimate for the "high grabbing e-brake lever" I 
asked about:
~$2100..............."well we can only use OEM replacement parts"......at 
dealer list blah blah blah.......................
