octane question

AFAIK those engines run a low CR (8.5:1, correct me if I'm wrong) so I
think 91 is enough with factory timing advance settings. However, you can
get a bit more out of the engine by dialing more advance in and running a
higher octane fuel. 93 or 94 R+M/2 with 6 more degrees advance should make
a pretty noticeable difference in engine behavior IMHO.
