low temp suspension squeak

Hey, +3F this morning, I think winter's finally arrived in New
Hampshire. Thanks, Canada. ;-(

Grumping to work in the A4, I heard a quiet, high-pitched repetitive
squeak that sounded like it came fromt the r.f. corner. Of course that
doesn't mean it *is* coming from *that* corner, or even *a* corner....

Anyway the squeak is present all the time for the first few miles, but
it's *not* rhythmic. And it does go away after a few miles. I kinda
think it's related to road irregularities, which leads me to suspect
it's coming from a bushing.

Do (factory) bushings squeak in cold weather? Would a squirt of WD-40
fix it?
