Knock with SAAB APC

I was chatting a little while ago with the ex lead mechanic for 
Blomqvists A2. He just purchased a friend of mines A2.... He said they 
never worried much about controlling knock after the fact, because once 
it knocked it was likely 'already too late'. They concentrated more on 
making sure the engine never knocked in the first place.
