A coworker was in the local Audi dealer recently and said "what was
that thing that looked like an A6 on crack?" He doesn't know cars
from a hole in the wall.

Honestly, what do you want other than massive 19" wheels, mesh
grilles over half the front of the car, sport badges front+rear, nice
exhaust tips/rear valence, and fenders that look like they're ready
to explode out of the sides?

I don't think it 'flies lower' than the S8 at all.

Oh, and Top Gear informally reviewed the M5, RS6, Jag S-type R, and
the AMG E55. The M5 was barely mentioned. Jaguar: "Jaguar is
finally happy to be in the same power league as BMW. But then, Audi
came along and moved the goalpost."

Of course, Merc then moved it some more; the AMG's 500 even. It lost
out to the RS6, which was their pick however- traction control on the
AMG would come on at the slightest blip of the throttle on wet roads.
"Tap the throttle and a little light is constantly coming on
reminding you that some electronics just kept you out of the ditch".
