ISV & electrical do dads

For my '87 5kcstq: I got a new ISV from Rod at TPC, and I noticed that the 
plug is larger than the one that's installed. After much checking, it would 
seem that the PO put on some other ISV with a smaller plug.

Where can I get this larger plug? Can this be purchased at my FLAPS?

Other electrical stuff: A lot of the electrical connections (quick 
disconnectors and round connectors) look pretty weak/old/tired, etc. These I 
can get at FLAPS, but are these all the same guage? I imagine they're not 
and I should just buy a "variety pack" of sorts. If the same, what guage are 
they or does it even matter?

Also, what crimping/stripping tool works best? Recommendations?
