Carfax?

There are several of us on the Audifans lists who have offered to provide
carfax reports when we had open accounts for them. I see no problem with
an individual offering this "help" on a list that's all about helping
eachother. The actual amount of peace of mind that results is only as
accurate as the individual state laws regarding reporting of title issues.
I'm not sure it's really worth much. But it's a starting point for
justifying paying someone to actually examine the car. I DO wonder why
folks ask if anyone currently has an open account when those of us willing
to provide reports announce their availability.
