Cold start problem - Fixed! (type 44)

It appears my intermittent cold start problem was solved by unplugging the
ECU and spraying ProGold on the connector.  I don't know how much of the
success should be attributed to the ProGold vs simply re-seating the
connector.  

Background ... this problem had been intermittent for over a year.  It was
obvious the cold start valve wasn't firing, but the sensor tested OK.
Replaced the sensor anyway and it didn't help.  Infrequent occurence is the
main reason it took so long to track down, but lately it had become much
more frequent which helped me to find the problem.
