The thing to watch with tire tests is that they generally always test
"NEW" tires. The results are only relevant if you are always using new
tires. The Nokian and Gislaveds both have all their sipes that got full
depth down to 2/32" tread depth; mim=nimum legal tread depth. That way
you don't get as much of a falloff in function as the tread wears. Ask
anyone who read the Consumers Reports tests that rated the Dunlop D60
and then D65 A2 as a great tire even in wet conditions. At about 10 to
14k those tires started getting very dangerous in wet.

I recall seeing a tire test when I was in Finland where they tested all
tires after putting somethink like 20k on them. That sseemed like a
real world test.
