87.5 CGT Trip computer & MC swaps, do they get along?

On my megasquirt conversion, which will be done one of these days, I'm
planning on synthesizing the air flow plate signal. I'm going to data
log the air flow plate, as well as the other engine parameters (MAP,
throttle position, coolant temp, rpm, etc) and figure out what the
correlation is. Hopefully it's linearly related to air flow, which
would be great, because that's pretty easy to extract from the MS.
Then, I'll be adding a D/A converter to he MS, and that'll output a
"fake" signal to replace the lost air flow plate signal.
If I get it working I'll share.
