**** I'm doing the propane torch trick now.
If I dig out, I'll get some more silicone spray. This is what I normally
use, but I thought you had a better idea.
I have another question. What grease do you use to lubricate door lock
mechanisms and the inside of door levers and such?
I took my doors apart this summer and lubed whatever I could get at using
white lithium grease.
Now that the weather is real cold, I think that was a bad idea. A number of
times now, the doors wont close and latch. I think the grease stiffens up a
lot in the cold, and prevents smooth operation.
Whats the best grease to use on door linkages, locks, handles, etc?
