Jaguar does offer a front-drive only version of the X-type in Europe.

So while that claim is "technically" true, it is only so in the US market.
But it is loathsome for Jaguar to be advertising some little technicality
like that as if it embodies some inherent engineering advantage.  This
wouldn't be the first time  Jaguar had done this.  They also claimed
the new XJ to be the "only luxury car with an all-aluminum monocoque
chassis".

Shame.
