I have the US 1991 Audi 100/200 series brochure and there certainly is
a FWD 200 listed (with the MC engine).  Whether many were sold is a
good question.  1991 was AOA's leanest year, with a combined total of
only around 11,000 cars sold in the USA.  Compare that to the peak in
1984 of some 75,000 cars, and 2002's total of around 83,000 cars.
