cold start weirdness

The 3-pin sensor is an updated version of the 4-pin sensor. This is the
multi-function sensor that goes to the ECU and controls the temp guage,
cold start, etc. There is another small sensor by cyl 1 that is used by
the ECU (anyone know what for?). The other small sensor on the coolant
neck is part of the ISV circuit. The 2-wire sensor controls the after-run
fans.

I would only do that as a very last resort..
