Stuck Front Shock in Strut

Good Idea.

I did not have a set of weights, but I replaced the top mount, jacked up 
the wheel and put some 2x4's in as a "spacer."  Then let the jack down.  
That did not do it alone, but it put pressure on the cartridge, so that 
when I turned it via a channel lock thru the spring, it broke free (be 
aware of where the channel lock might go when the strut breaks free and 
the spring moves...)  This after soaking in penetrating oil for a day.

That a PITA, but its done. Thanks to all who replied...
