Oh darn... oil seal saga and an extra part

They both have one... but if it belonged to the cam seal, it probably
popped off as you pushed the new seal on anyway.  There is a reason
for the sleeve tool for installing these seals - the inner lip needs to
be expanded slowly or it tends to turn inside out and the spring pop off.
I observed this on a '91 100 Q.  I had the front cam bearing cap off
to make things easier (replacing valve cover gasket at the same time)
and watched this little spring pop off every time...  I improvised a tool
using the cardboard from the box the seal came in rolled into a cylinder.
