I'll mix my own synthetic blends too, it's more economical that buying them
at the store since you can control the amount of the synthetic component.
There are (wives?-) tales of 'additive clash' to be found, where the end
result is LESS than the sum of it's parts, so I like to try and keep the
dino and synthetic the same brand when mixing.
