Cheapest laptop for VAG-COM?

At least for the B5 A4/S4 manuals, the CD edition has more info about
the on board diagnostic stuff than the printed version.  Ideally
I would love to have both editions, the CD version is good for
the OBD stuff, plus the ability to hypertext and search.  However,
viewing the wiring diagram is a PITA on the CD edition.  The printed
version is a lot more expensive, though.

As for a laptop, I have an old IBM Thinkpad 760ED Pentium 150MHz laptop
that works just fine for VAG-COM (and is used pretty much *only* for
VAG-COM, Bentley, and ETKA purposes, all my other computing are done
on Linux and Unix machines).
