It's ALIVE!!! With an initial quick prayer the car started right up
with out any unusual noises (other than a little plastic piece rubbing
the harmonic balancer, easily screwed back in place) Everything seems
to be running great... at least I know when the timing belt is due for
another timing belt change (260K miles!!!!)

Thank you everyone who answered my questions about the timing belt
change. It really is relatively simple with the proper tools. I did
end up torquing the crankshaft bolt as much as I could then drove the
car a block away to Alki Auto repair here in west seattle just to make
sure it was at 258 ft lb...

The crankshaft seal and camshaft seal I ended up putting a thin coat of
grease for initial lubrication as instructed by the local machine shop
where I bought it from. It slid right in... sure wish I had noticed
the spring inside the camshaft oil seal, would have saved me from
removing it and ruining it in the process... fortunately I bought an
extra one from a local Napa store before I did that.

Thanks again everyone for your help! Next project is the rear
crankshaft seal...... but that can wait a little while...

Revving in Seattle!
