93 urS4: no turn over, no start, no jump

Eric, Brett et al:
Wife's A6 did this first cold spell.  turn key: no nothing, no start.
Left it alone and day later it started right up.
(I suspect alarm) but I wasn't home to witness it.
200 20V Avant: open door: silence........................put key in an turn 
no dash lights.
THAT's a DEAD battery (and the reason no Audi at the WDS)
