Great site, Cody.
I get to wondering about what these freaking wings do to a ricers' handling. When I see a tiny Civic si with a surfboard-sized wing on the rear deck, it gets me to thinking about the laws of physics...what do a few hundred pounds of downforce *do* when applied to the *rear* of a tiny FWD tin can, often with bouncy, cut stock springs and ultra low profile skins with 5 inch spacers?? :)
Man, I wouldnt want to drive one of those over 60.
Wait....ahem...I mean, I wouldnt want to drive one of those at all.

No doubt a small spoiler can be a good thing on a street car, and definately can
improve cruising stability, but also lower top speed and reduce fuel economy. Trouble
is that the Ricer boys don't want a small spoiler. Thiers is 4ft off the rear trunk,
7ft wide and the element is usually over a foot front to back, and at some rediculous
deflection. Check out this page for what I mean:

Even towards the bottom theres a Audi TT with a _PROPER_ spoiler and a little text
axplaining that this is a car that actually could use it.
