V8 cast iron block

Somebody on Audiworld has NO CLUE as to what they are talking about (big 
surprise!). I just checked the OFFICIAL Audi repair manual for the 
original Audi V8 and it specifically lists the alloy engine components 
which includes the engine block.

And I'm about 99% sure that the new A8 engine block is alloy also, how 
else could the V8 weigh as much as the V6twin-turbo?
