'93 100CSQ Avant no start condition

Parked my '93 100CSQ Avant last night to pick up some Chineese take-out.  Returned to car that would not start.  Engine turns over fine and fired a couple of times but wouldn't keep running.  Had to leave it and call a friend for a ride.  Came back later to try again.  Turns over fine and no fire.  Really strange, the car had ben running fine and was exhibiting no symptons up to the time I parked it. Unfortunately, it's -15 degrees F. and I am not about to be working outside trying to pull codes with the jumper wire.  The problem could be a number of issues.  
 
I just hate the thought of calling the dealer tomorrow morning to get it towed and letting them work on it.  I've managed to avoid them for the past 8 years. This time of year I have no real choice.  I'll let the list know what the problem is in a few days.
