That thing has up to (and over) 5 bar of pressure on it when it's 
running.  If you can pull it out with a little ole magnet, it'll move 
fine under pressure.

The only reason they sometimes don't drop out, I think, is that they are 
"stuck" with the oil/goo in there.

But Phil is right, they should move freely, generally speaking.
