Nate put a 4kq trans into his 90tq, he had to use the 4kq propshaft
since the trannies are different lengths. So you'd need the propshaft,
as well.
I suspect the driveshafts will bolt right up, based on him doing that.
The speedo sender will screw right in.
The engine will bolt right up.
Leaving one silly issue - the gearshift linkage. On the 4kq, it is
abominable, a real Rube Goldberg setup. But, the stuff inside the car
is made to hook up to it.
The 80Q linkage is much simpler, but will probably take some fiddling
and ingenuity to hook up correctly to a gearshift lever inside the car.
So, if you are going to do it, try to have ready access to as many parts
from that 80Q as you can while you are working. Better yet, bring the
whole thing home with you so it's right there.
And I suspect, Torsen debates aside, that I like the thing in my 90Q,
since I always wonder why everyone talks about locking diffs in crappy
weather - I don't see the need - well, duh, it's because mine is doing
it on its own. Of course, this happening at 5/10ths, not 9/10ths of
performance demand.
