CS injector - CIS-E3 & Injector replacement & fuel testing [Re: Audi 100 Won't Start: Finally Starts !!!!!!!]

As Huw described, I used the injector puller and the sleeves came out with
injector still inserted in them. The sleeves being newer than the injectors
came out easier. It looks like I did not replace the O-Rings on the
injectors, which certainly would not help with starting.

I must have put things together provisionally before putting engine project
"on the back burner" for some time before I did the final integration and
installation. I'm not even sure if the injectors and sleeves were seated
firmly. I suppose these are the things that can happen as a project drags
on, as injector O-rings is not something meant to skimp on. Injectors did
leak a little and one dripped after shutoff, but I'm thinking something else
is contributing to the no start condition.

Anyway, new injectors, seals along with fuel pressure testing will ensue,
and I hope to get this project back on track and completed soon. It
certainly is a lot easier taking things apart on a motor that was completely
torn apart and cleaned before reassembly with lock-tite and/or anti-seize
where appropriate. Now if it weren't so cold in the garage.
