V8 Cabrio?

What about an early A8 3.7 fwd drivetrain?  Either way, you're
probably already talking about many electrical/wiring challenges, so
why not have a newer more modern drivetrain that was already designed
as FWD?

Just-realized probable answer: Availability is likely very poor, at
least in the US, though cost may not be an issue as demand might
likely be low.
