2 Shokan puppet or WAS: S4 trans swap?

Maybe Shokan has changed its tune, but history is hard to forget.
I read about enough bad parts deals to not want to try them after I felt
their pricing was stratospheric for used parts. Being located by Metro NYC has a
great deal to do with that............as would Los Angles and other high cost
of living metropolitan areas.

It might make sense that if you can knock on their door, they'd treat you
better, but when I went to buy a Coupe GT axle from them (at the time in
Westchester County NY....quite NEAR them) they told me they wouldn't give me
directions to the business.
THEY'D meet me at a pizza place nearby (them) and do the part transfer there.

Seemingly, this list is to help out others while providing affordable
alternatives to expensive dealer repairs and some of the exorbitant prices
replacement parts could cost. While it may not be helpful terming one a "puppet", I
kept getting the same feeling Ti spoke out loud about an affiliation with Shokan.

Either similar to the "fat wallet syndrome" or more money can solve the
problem,
I feel IMHO that sending more money or "list price" to an establishment
should get you GOLD status......................and GOLD treatment.
