High perf tire selection question

What were your previous tires? Same size? How worn were they? Were
the new wheels an upgrade? What size where the previous wheels?

Far too many variables to count this as a relevant comparison. Just
about any new tire is going to feel better than what it replaced and
when going plus-one or greater, a true tire comparison is moot.

That's the problem with so much of the feedback on Tire Rack. You
really have to try to read between the lines to get meaningful data.

I just read Tire Rack's own evaluation of the Yoko AVS ES100. Sounded
good with slight exception to wet traction. But that was on a BMW
which would have fairly different suspension geometry than the 2.7tt
in question. You might check it out though as there were 4 or 5 UHP
summer tires in the test.

Can't say I've every heard anything about Kumhos that would make me buy.

I've got a set of HTRZ2's but haven't put many miles on them. If I
were buying today, I'd probably get the Yoko's instead.
