No fuel on 86 4kq

I wouldn't put much weight on the fuel prime thing. My 4kq and my urq never
did it, but both run fine. I think they're SUPPOSED to prime, but for
whatever reason, don't.

The pump should run while cranking though, shouldn't it? Just as easy to
test, though depending on how loud the pump is, if it works at all, this
test may require 2 people.

First thing, when you turn the key to the on position you should here the
pump prime for a few seconds.. that's the easiest thing to check first....
