Sinking clutch pedal...Update.

Guys,

First off, thanks for the feedback from everyone.

I changed out the Clutch MC yesterday afternoon with a replacement I had
from a parts car.

I figured I give this a shot just to confirm that it was indeed the Clutch
MC.

The R&R on the Clutch MC went rather well. I had to modify a 6mm allen
wrench to get in at the rear bolt that holds the MC to the car. The original
Clutch MC's have very little clearence back there. The used replacement was
a aftermarket one that compensates for this poor design and is much easier
to get at that bolt.

The only problem I had was bleeding the clutch. I did not have access to a
pressure bleeder so we bleed the old standby way. This took forever.

I got as much air as I could out of the system but it still feels a bit
softer than I'd like.

The clutch still doesn't return smoothly at the top. It catches about an
inch from the top and then flops up. I think I must have toasted the
bushing/return spring?

On the road driving revels good overall clutch engagement. No more sinking
clutch. Just softer than I'd like.

I'm gonna try to pressure bleed it sometime this week.

Steve
