tire size for a 90

I have another friend with a '90 90q20v who is running 215-40-16 and
has a set of 225-40-16 to put on after those are toast.  The 215's do
not rub.  He's running a BBS wheel.  I'll find out the spec's too as
that may affect the fitment puzzle.
