It sounds to me like you've got a bad starter solenoid.  I'd give the 
starter a couple light taps with a hammer and try cranking it again.  If 
it starts, that means you probably have a bad solenoid (which I don't 
think is available as a separate module on the starter in question -- 
someone correct me if I'm wrong).  If a new ignition was just put in, 
did they also replace the starter?
