Checking A/C Vacuum Lines 90q

Finally got around to looking at why I am only getting HOT air from my 
vents... seems as if  there is no vacuum to the fresh air open/close 
valve... before I rip out the dash... any BTDT's that I should check 
first?  I noticed the valve working thats behind the climate control, 
but thats all I was able to see/feel...
