I am new to the list. I just purchased a 1987 5000CS Quattro. It has a Intended Acceleration Chip, 2Bennet Turbo and Intercooler, Koni Coilovers. I have had the car for about one weak. It drove great with 15psi of boost, and then suddenly it would not make over 5psi. The car still runs great up until 5psi; then, it cuts out. This is my first turbo. Any suggestions on where to start

Dave,
You most likely have a hole in the intercooler to throttle body hose - the accordian shaped hose oft. referred to as the "Michelin Man" hose. Check this at the bottom - sometime the hole can't be revealed until it is removed. Cleaning with alcohol and some Black RTV and duct-tape will fix this temporarily (actually somewhat permanently although it will look like HE!!).
If the leak is not in the MM hose, then you must have blown something else.
Replacement MM hoses available at thepartsconnection.com often on special for fraction of the dealer. I have a few too - used but good if you need a cheap replacement in a hurry.q
