All the old Audis (my newest is the '91 200q20v) allowed you to leave the
radio on even if the key is out of the ignition and the door opened and
shut again. That's how my wife ran down her battery on her '90 V8. Turned
the radio down so she couldn't hear it but didn't turn it off and then went
away for a trip. Week later, dead battery.
