Coupe GT Seats

Hello:

I have an 87 Coupe GT where the front seats have seen better days, and that's 
putting it mildly. Someone popped open the sunroof and jumped in destroying 
the drivers seat.
It is totally unrepairable.
Originality doesn't matter and I don't want buy an aftermarket seat that cost 
more than the car is worth...
Does anyone know of any other more common seats that may fit as no bone yards 
in the Chicago area seem to have any of these cars? I was told that Jetta 
seats may fit but I cannot confirm that.
