How To Align Distributor to Head??

So, now I'm trying to set up the ignition distributor position on the head. My motor is a turbo KH if that matters... One thing I'd like to know is how the distributor body should align to the head (eg. what position the hall sensor plug should be..) Second, is how to align the mark on the base underneath the rotor.

I already lined up the crank TDC mark and the dot on the the back of the cam gear to their marks (cam dot is a little higher than the valve cover mating surface of the head). So I guess I should leave the engine in that position to line up the distributor right? Any help much appreciated.
